Both tournaments will use a swiss draw with random first round pairings and rounds of a random length (50 + 2d6 mins).

The winner of each game will be determined as follows:
* First player to destroy (reduce to 0 health) both forms of their opponents monster.
* If no player destroys both forms of their opponents monster, the player who has destroyed the most forms of their opponents monster.
* If both players have destroyed the same number of forms of their opponents monster, the player who has dealt the most damage to their opponents monster (calculated as starting health minus finishing health of both forms).
* If both players have dealt the same amount of damage to their opponents monster, the game results in a draw.

Seeding/results for the swiss draw will be calculated as follows:
* The player with the most tournament points (A win by destroying both forms of an opponents monster grants 3 tournament points; a win otherwise grants 2 tournament points; a draw grants 1 tournament point).
* In the case of a tie, the player who has destroyed the most forms of their opponents monsters (across all games played).
* In the case of a tie, the player who has dealt the most damage to their opponents monsters (across all games played).
* In the case of a tie, randomly (seeding) or through the result of a final game with no time limit (results).

If there is an odd number of players, one player each round will get a bye. In the first round the player getting the bye will be determined randomly, in subsequent rounds it will go to the player with the lowest seeding, although no player will get it more than once. The bye counts as a win (2 tournament points) with 1 of your opponents forms destroyed and 10 damage dealt.

In the case of a player forfeiting a game for any reason, their opponent will score a win (3 tournament points) with both forms of the forfeiting players monster destroyed and damage dealt equal to the total health of both the forfeiting players monster forms. The forfeiting player will score 0 points, 0 forms destroyed and 0 damage dealt.

Any questions about tournament or game rules will be resolved by the tournament organiser, using the above rules, the rules in the Monsterpocalypse Now rulebook and the published errata and FAQ document. Any decision made by the tournament organiser is final and binding for the remainder of the tournament.
