The AMERICA Club Games for Gamers

In association with BATTLECRY - the Auckland University gaming convention; the DAANZ are proud to present:

THE AUCKLAND DIPLOMACY CHAMPIONSHIPS

There will be three Rounds in the tournament.
Round 1 - Saturday 10.00 am
Round 2 - Saturday 7.30 pm
Round 3 - Sunday 10.00 am
Registration will start 30 mins before each round with a teaching thingy for new players as well. For more information on the game of diplomacy please visit this link

There is no requirement to play in all rounds - turn up for any round just to have a game.

Scoring system will be C-Diplo
Tournament rules will available on the day but will be based on standard DAANZ tournament rules.

Country allocation will be random and each player will not play the same country more than once.

Each round will finish at the end of 1907 (3 ½ hours per round) Timing for each season will be as follow
1901 - 1902 - 15 mins per turn
1903 - 1907 - 12 mins per turn
The clock will continue during the retreats and builds phases.

This has been affiliated by DAANZ and will count towards 2008 Bismark Cup Points as well as lifetime masterpoints.

Prizes will be for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Best Countries and Best Novice.
