We have some awesome sponsors for this event including Caliver Books, Gripping Beast Miniatures and Essex Miniatures.
500 point armies drawn from the DBMM lists where published, otherwise from the existing DBM lists with modifications as directed in the Appendices of the DBMM rule book. Any queries/issues will be resolved by the umpire (me!) prior to the first games.
Army lists to be delivered to the Umpire no later than February 6th.
Armies based on draft lists as published on the DBMM Yahoo discussion group or the TNE Yahoo group or website may be accepted at the discretion of the umpire (Andrew!).
The DBMM rules will be played unmodified from the rulebook with the exception that:
* Each list may specify one Ally that is automatically reliable.
* No single member of a team may control more than 2 commands.
However, for convenience, team members may change which commands they control at any time during a game or between games.
Brilliant and Inert generals will be played but are only available to those armies listed in Appendix 1 of the DBMM rule book.
Each army will have available to it an additional 10 points to be spent solely on Stratagems. This is to encourage players to experiment with this new feature. Teams may of course choose to spend more than 10 points on Stratagems but the additional cost then comes out of the base 500 points. Note also that:
* This optional 10 points for Stratagems is NOT allowed to armies that include an Inert General (whether CinC or Ally). They may of course choose Stratagems but, if so, their cost must come from the base 500 points.
* The restrictions on a maximum of 5 stratagems in a base list and only 2 in any one game remains.
