6mm Modern - Doubles Tournament

BattleCry proudly presents for the first time at our event, 6mm Modern - Doubles Tournament

WRG Modern Wargame Rules 1950-2000
- with supplement for up to 2010

The tournament is to be a doubles tournament with N= 1750pts for each player (making the total N for each side 3500). The date for the tournament is 1980, no forces after this date. Forces a little before may be allowed if you get a special dispensation for exceptional circumstances. You must have a partner to enter and they must be playing a historical ally, as determined by the judge.

Even though the points are split between the armies you are one army for all other purposes, airsupport, artillery, jamming, off table supports etc…If this creates a problem with how observers will work, please contact the judge.

Postures for both armies must be the same and all lists must be provided beforehand for all potential postures if they are to be taken.

Terrain is to be place with terrain laying rules. Modular terrain will not be used.

All armies must be taken from the 1950-2010 supplement, unless organised with prior permission from the judge.

Airsupport limitations are taken from the 1950-2010 supplement, a side may take the better of their two armies, but that army must pay for it with their own points.

Points may not be shared between armies.

Nothing may be paid for by both sides.

There will be 4 rounds with the last round being a final. Each team will play each other once with the final round being the decider.

These rules will be subject to further modification, however reasonable notice shall be given.
